Over the last few decades, the Guardians were mostly occupied by studying the various Manifestations of Mirk and devising effective strategies to fight Them. Every guardian has one goal - to study the enemy's behavior to the extent when it is possible to predict their every action, every movement, every thought. Due to the Guardians, in a way, being Manifestations themselves, they are able to calculate the enemy's tactics in advance and act at maximum efficiency. This principle is used not only in battle, but also in other aspects of Guardians' lives.
The Torpan Alliance, which initially resisted the emergence of the Guardian society, is now actively supporting their initiatives. The Guardians have already proven themselves in large-scale battles, and many joint operations were successful largely due to their participation.
Enormous orbital fortifications of this type are constructed by the Guardians in sector centers and around highly important objects. It is an entire complex equipped with all necessary technology for prolonged combat, support of about 200 interceptors, Mirk research and observing the activity at its Boundaries. The structure is capable of supporting a population of 2 million and withstanding 5 years under siege without external aid. The defensive complex consists of a complex chain of artillery platforms on the external perimeter. All stations of this class are linked with a hyperspace information network developed by the Sia'Nuss.
Class: Titan.
Weapons: Defensive systems.
Description:
Light barge is the largest, most heavily armored Guardian freighter, designed for long flights through Mirk-affected systems and transportation of particularly important loads. Its defensive capabilities render such ''minor incidents'' as pirate attacks not worth worrying about. Being comparable to large stations in its capabilities, this ship is so enormous that loading and unloading are done by a fleet of smaller cargo ships. Despite such massive size, light barge could outrun any titan-ship. The ship itself and its mysterious crew are surrounded by numerous legends, since no one has ever seen them.
Dodger
Stasis-field generator
Class: Interceptor.
Weapons: 2 light turrets.
Description:
A Guardian battle ship, specializing in engineering and sabotage combat tasks, such as discovery and destruction of the enemy's weak nodes. They are often used for rebuilding various systems in combat conditions.
Class: Platform.
Weapons: none.
Description:
A static platform, capable of moving large objects by grabbing them with a gravitational beam.
Nest devastator
Defensive turret
Class: Cruiser.
Weapons: 5 heavy turrets, 3 missile launchers. Small-caliber defensive systems.
Description:
The most powerful type of Guardian combat vessels, they are often found in Mirk-bordering systems. These ships are built for long-range targeting of anomalous formations around a Mirk Nest (a dying star). The primary weapon and the power generators take up most of the ship's structure. A Devastator is assembled from the most powerful and effective modules found in ships of similar class, and to generate the necessary amount of energy for the main weapon, the standard generator was replaced by an impact-impulse Sia'Nuss model.
Class: Freighter.
Weapons: heavy turret.
Description:
A Guardian freighter modernized into a huge mobile platform. Main purpose is the destruction of large objects. Does not have own defense systems, and thus is supported by a squadron of interceptors.
Guard-post
Miner
Class: Platform.
Weapons: 2 heavy turrets.
Description:
A static platform designed to defend large objects, stations and fortifications. Guard-posts are placed in complex tactical patterns around the defended objects.
Class: Freighter.
Weapons: mines.
Description:
Built on the foundations of a Torpan miner, with defense elements and engines taken from ships of other races, these ships are faster, more resilient and maneuverable. The use of much smaller mines allowed to increase the maximum ammo load by several orders of magnitude.
